We work with local farmers, local shops and producers to bring to you fresher, tastier seasonal local produce at competitive prices. Service is always friendly and efficient and delivery is free.

We now represent 43 local producers and suppliers all from the local area and surrounding Cheshire countryside.

In the Begining

Wouldn't it be great if you could go on-line and visit all your favourite local shops, the local farmers market, infact get virtually everthing you need for your weekly shop without leaving home and then have it delivered free of charge to your door!  Well now you can. We will deliver fresh local produce to your door in Macclesfield, Alderley Edge, Prestbury and Congleton.

Who we are and where we are based ? 

Based in the small village of Sutton on the outskirts of Macclesfield go-shop-local was born. Originally based in the Village shop it wasn't long before we outgrew the space there. Go-shop-local is now based at a Local Farm in Sutton with plenty of space. Adrian has left Go-shop-local to concentrate on his own business running the shop and post office which now has no connection with Go-shop-local and we wish him well.  

In the begining it started with a great passion for good food and a keen eye for value for money. After 10 months of hardwork we arrived with our on-line shop which will provide you with local, seasonal produce at competitive prices. But not only that you can buy many other things you need for your weekly shop from Heinz Baked Beens to Pasta and Olive Oil, with new lines being added all the time.

Besides myself Richard Buxton there is my business partner Simon Spurrell. We have lived in Sutton, and Macclesfield all of our lives in with our own wives and children and together we hope to bring you an efficient and friendly service. We are passionate about our local community and supporting our local shops and suppliers. We extend the reach of local businesses and provide them with an online ordering and delivery service that they don't have the resources to provide individually.
